Screamin’ Bridge, started by Matthew Manning in Spring 2022, was one of 8 bands selected to perform at the Merlefest ’24 band competition. They playing bluegrass in the family band Dry Creek and at bluegrass festivals, Manning and his cousin Brendan Mobley are deeply rooted in the traditional music.
Manning, guitar, organized Screamin’ Bridge with his cousin, Brendan Mobley, fiddle, and two local musicians and bluegrass enthusiasts, Jacob Vaughan, bass, and Justin Edwards, banjo, of the locally renowned Martin County Ramblers. The all share vocals, both lead & powerful harmonies.
