The Cricket Band was an occasional band (also sometimes known as the Wonder Band) that accompanied Shelby and Linda Stephenson, who rarely traveled to Fountain without their dog, for whom the band was named.
In addition to Shelby and Linda, the band included, at different shows, Les Sandy on fiddle; Julian Ball and Manny Krevat on electric guitar; and Charlie Melton and Larry Sleeper on bass.
