While we wish always that you will pleased with your virtual shopping experience in Fountain, we also understand that sometimes this will not be the case. Understanding our shipping and return/refunds policies may help clarify your shopping expectations and help ease the hassle of shipping difficulties.
Turnaround: All orders are shipped within 48 hours of receipt, via USPS, from Fountain, NC. Shipping charges are figured based on USPS rates. For some items, that cost is absorbed by RAF; for others, items are shipped first class, package, or book/media rate, whichever is appropriate.
Other carriers may be requested but shipping charges may be adjusted according to the requested carrier’s rates.
When tracking is provided by USPS (for package & media/book rates) we include the tracking number with your notification of shipping. USPS does not provide tracking for 1st class mail.
Unless otherwise specified, you cannot place an item on back order.
For our e.store, we accept these credit/debit cards: Visa, MasterCard, and Discover, via Authorize.Net, which uses an enhanced Card Code Verification (CCV) handling filter.
In person, we accept these same cards as well as personal checks and cash.
All sales are final.
We will, however, gladly refund item cost + postage paid by customer for any item that is not as described or that is delivered in damaged condition. We ask that the item be returned to RAF, and we will include the postage that you paid on that return item in your refund amount.
We will unconditionally refund cost + postage for any item that is returned to us, at purchaser’s expense, in the same condition in which it was delivered.
Refunds are made by check delivered via USPS, unless otherwise requested. Credit card refunds will incur a small service fee.
Notification of intent to return with a reason for that return should be sent via email to firstname.lastname@example.org or via USPS to RAF, PO Bx 44, Fountain, NC 27829. In some cases, we may not require the return of the original item: for example, if an item arrived broken or damaged or was described as new and clearly shows wear, and and you send photo documentation, it’s unlikely that we would require return of that item.

In-store shopping returns policy
We will unconditionally refund cost + postage for any item that is returned to us, at purchaser’s expense, in the same condition in which it was delivered. If the original item was purchased a credit card, a small transaction fee may deducted from the refund.
Refunds for reserved seats for events at R.A. Fountain are fully refundable up to two weeks prior to the event date. Depending on circumstances, refunds may issued when the request is within the last two weeks prior to the event. A small processing fee will be deducted from credit card refunds issued for events.
Exception: R.A. Fountain will fully refund seat reservations for events that are canceled by R.A. Fountain, the event presenter, or inclimate weather. No processing fee will be deducted from such refunds.
R.A. Fountain pays NC sales tax of 7% on merchandise sold at our brick & mortar store and to e.store customers who have a North Carolina address. Generally, snack prices include this sales tax and merchandise does not.
For out of state customers on our e.store, it is the customer’s responsibility to notify state tax authorities of such purchases where such applicable state laws exist and to pay those taxes.
R.A. Fountain pays NC sales tax of 3% on sales of food products classified as grocery items by the state of NC, such as whole bean coffee, jams & jellies, produce, and fresh eggs as available from local sources.
Concert seat prices always include 7% NC sales tax.
Wholesale customers and non-profits such as libraries are not be charged sales tax for books and CDs if they provide R.A. Fountain with their state tax ID or proof of registration as a non-profit.
