Danny Stanley was an original member of Carolina Sonshine, for whom he was lead singer and guitarist. Originally from Loris, SC, he performed for many years with his family band, The Stanley Family.
Along with Tom Langdon, he was later with the Gentlemen of Bluegrass, who specialized in the music of the Country Gentlemen and the Seldom Scene.
