Lindsay Jane’s professional career as a singer-songwriter was jump-started in 1999 when she took first place in a songwriting competition in Alberta. She traveled throughout Canada for several years as a solo performer before joining the Wyrd Sisters, for whom she played lead guitar in 2003-04.
Jane grew up in Calgary, where her singer-songwriter group included Steve Forbert, Chip Taylor, and Gordie Johnson.
