Sunday’s Free-at-3 concert this week features Take “2” and the Ramblin’ Rose Band. This Roanoke Rapids-based bluegrass gospel band includes the sisters Jo Reese on autoharp and Wilma Hamill, who write many of the group’s songs and sing; Glenwood Rose on rhythm guitar; J.B Collins on bass; Jack Hopkins on mandolin; and Eddie Walker of South Hill, Va., on dobro. Jean Rose is manager and booking agent.

Take “2” and the Ramblin’ Rose Band has released three CDs: I Love You (in Red), How Far Is Heaven? and Gospel Train to Glory.
