Singer-songwriter Mya Rose Wilkins, who is originally from Mantasket Beach, MA, had released three CDs of her original songs and was nearing completion of her fourth when she performed at RAF in 2005. She was living in Greenville, preparing to move to England when she played RAF. She was a street musician in Korea while a high school student there, and has for nine years performed only her own material, which she described as “folky, funky rock.”
Wilkins, on guitar, was accompanied by Will Kinzy on bass.
This was a free admission show.
