Haywire

Location: R.A. Fountain

From our promo for this concert:

Led by Greenville native Alice Zincone and Canadian Rick Lafleur, Haywire performed in June to a packed house at R.A. Fountain. The Triangle-based quartet is traveling to promote its first CD, which is getting good airplay on bluegrass radio shows throughout the region. Three songs off that CD, “Moma’s Voice,” can be heard via the internet from R.A. Fountain’s electronic store.

Zincone, the daughter of veteran bluegrass performer Buddy Zincone, says she and her band are excited about returning to Fountain General Store, which she calls “the best little cafe east of Raleigh–this place is great. It has the listening atmosphere that all musicians yearn for in a gig.”
