Brantley, now an English professor at Barton College in Wilson, ran a photography studio in Nashville, NC for years. It was from there that he took and altered the photo used in this profile. It became a favorite of ours and is what you’ll see as default background on all of our webpages. Michael also continues to freelance for Bluegrass Unlimited.
