Emma Dupree Day

4th annual celebration of the life and legacy of Fountain's renowned "little medicine thing"

Emma Dupree was an original Earth Day champion long before anyone thought of that designation. Please join us in Fountain as we celebrate her life and legacy with a day of activities.

And when you’ve got 30 minutes, watch this 1978 documentary that follows her around her Fountain backyard with some ECU medical students.

And help us all celebrate Emma Dupree’s healing legacy at the 4th annual Emma Dupree Day, Saturday, April 16, 2022.

10:00 a.m. Unveiling of historic marker, at corner of US 258 [N.  Railroad St.]/ Mills St.
