[Fountain, NC]. Without Further Ado, featuring Jessica Gardner, returns to Fountain General Store for a Friday night country music concert.

Without Further Ado is local legend Clyde Mattocks’ latest country music project. Mattocks is best-known in East Carolina as co-founder, with Bill Lyerly, of the SuperGrit Cowboy Band. He’s also one of the premier steel guitarists in the U.S, popular as a guest performer as well as a session man for recording.

Gardner, who sings lead and plays guitar in the band, has toured extensively with Second Helping, the Lynyrd Skynyrd cover band, and is a featured vocalist with the Crystal Coast Jamboree.

Recently added to the band is Greenville’s Sarah Hollis on fiddle. A senior now at Rose High, she has been performing bluegrass for several years with her father and mother, Lane and Sharon Hollis, in the Hollis Family Band.

Hollis joins long-time members Lynn Parker, who sings and plays electric guitar; Carroll Wade, who sings and plays bass; and Dexter Horton, who plays drums.
