(Fountain, NC) The Still Shakers play progressive and traditional bluegrass at Fountain General Store this coming Saturday night.
Tonight, former ECU English professor Patrick Bizzaro presents a free poetry reading at the Smith-Yelverton Typewriter Museum, located in the storefront beside of Fountain General Store.
Formed two years ago and based in Greenville, the Still Shakers are comprised of former members of two regional progressive bluegrass favorites, Carolina Still and Redhorse Black.
Performers include Adam Jones on upright bass and vocal harmonies; fiddler Robert Norman who also plays harmonica and sings lead; David Hayes on banjo; Jason Bullard on acoustic guitar and vocals; and William Smith on drums.
