Old-time Carolina comes to life again in this specially curated concert of early 20th century classics. rescued tonight from their obscurity for a concert to remember.

Lightnin’ Wells and his long time friends and musical collaborators Wayne and Margaret Martin and Matt Haney have put together this special show honoring old-time and country music performers from North Carolina’s rural past, some folks you might not’ve heard of like the Smile Awhile Boys from Benson, the Cauley Family fromLenoir County, and the Tobacco Tags from Gastonia. Expect some regional tunes from a few more familiar acts: the Swingbillies, Sonny Terry, Algia Mae Hinton, and Wilson’s own Mustard and Gravy Some surprises, too.
