Second Stage performs a variety of traditional and contemporary acoustic music, including bluegrass, country, old-time, and folk-rock. They have become popular attractions at venues and festivals throughout the state.

Performers include Stuart Gordon on guitar, mandolin, harmonica, and keyboards; lead singer Ann Searcy on percussions; Don Schlenger on guitar; and Dennis Hoyle on bass. They all share vocals.
