Australian Old-time Duo New Macedon Rangers SUNDAY 4 pm

The New Macedon Rangers, formerly known as Ash & Andy, are comprised of banjo picker Ashlee Watkins and her husband, Greenville native Andrew Small, on mandolin and fiddle. They take their name from the Macedon Mountains in central Victoria, Australia, where they live.

The Rangers are wrapping up a busy and award-winning summer tour of the Southeast during which they have won first prize in Old-Time Band at Fiddlers Grove and first prize for Best Folk Song at the Upper East Tennessee Fiddlers Convention. Small also took first prize in Old-Time Fiddle at Fiddlers Grove. He is a former Australian National Bluegrass Mandolin Champion

The New Macedon Rangers’ September 9 concert begins at 4 p.m. General admission is $10; reserved seats, $12.50.
