Location: R.A. Fountain

from our promo for this concert

The Marlboro Boys, who formed out of the Marlboro Free Will Baptist Church in Farmville, perform traditional bluegrass gospel and old hymns arranged bluegrass style. “They were among our most popular acts before they disbanded three years ago,” said Fountain General Store proprietor Alex Albright. “Getting them back together for this show will be a great treat.”

Performers include Reed Kennedy on bass and bass vocals; Steve Sutton on banjo, lead and tenor vocals; Bobby Harper on guitar and baritone vocals; Jason Tyson, tenor vocals; Tim Shelton on mandolin and lead vocals; and a special guest for this concert, Don Dunn on lead and rhythm guitar. Randy Blaylock does sound for the Boys.
