from our promo for this concert

The Malpass Brothers, Chris and Taylor, have become East Carolina’s most popular musical act. Their latest CD was produced by bluegrass legend Doyle Lawson. They were featured performers at his annual Christmas show last week in Bristol, Tennessee, with Lawson’s band, Quicksilver.

The brothers also are now represented by Class Act Entertainment, the Nashville, Tennessee, based booking agency that also handles Balsam Range and the Boxcars.

Joining the Goldsboro-based brothers in the band are their dad, Chris, Sr., on bass; Clyde Mattocks on Dobro and banjo; Johnny Ridge on fiddle; and Dennis Daniels on drums.

The Malpass Brothers December 18 concert begins at 7:30. Reserved seats, which are $15, are highly recommended for this show. General admission, if available, is $12.50. Both prices include tax.
