Lemon Sisters & Rutabaga Brothers

Location: R.A. Fountain

from our promo for this show & dance

The Lemon Sisters and Rutabaga Brothers were the most popular dance band in the region during the 1980s. Four years ago, they reunited for a Christmas show and dance at Fountain General Store that has now become an annual tradition.

The band features the vocals of Laura Lemon, Sue Luddeke, and Amy Hazzard, who also plays flute and saxophone. Mike Hamer plays Casio keyboard and harmonica; John Worthington plays guitar; Bob Aiken is on drums; and Rob McIntyre on bass.

Admission for the Lemons and Rutabagas’ December 19 dance is $11. Most seating will be removed for this performance to allow for a larger dance area. Showtime is 7:30.
