Highway 58

Location: R.A. Fountain

Clyde Mattocks says his band Highway 58 plays “straight-ahead bluegrass.” And we can attest to the fact that they’re definitely one of the best bands of pickers we ever get to host.

And Clyde, of course, is a musical legend in these parts. One of the founding members of the SuperGrit Cowboy Band, he has for decades been one of the most sought after session musicians in the Southeast. We’re fortunate to have him living so close by.

For tonight’s show, Clyde will be on Dobro, Tyler Hayes on guitar, Don Dunn on mandolin, Danny Grant on banjo, John Booker on bass, and Dan O’Day on fiddle.
