From Broadway to Main Street, one more time in downtown Fountain

with RaSheeda Waddell

Location: R.A. Fountain

This is one of our most popular shows and the absolute hardest to book, given how busy Dirk stays. And Steve, of course, always brings an excellent band of musicians to play with. Tonight’s includes Jim Gilliam on saxophones, keyboards, and clarinet; George Knott on acoustic bass and tuba; and Andy Vermiglio on drums.

Dirk has six Broadway credits as a dancer and singer. Based in his restored historic home in the Edgecombe County community of Old Sparta, he stays busy with national touring musicals and teaching tap dance in ECU’s School of Theatre and Dance. He was preparing to play F.D.R. in the upcoming North Carolina Theatre production of Annie,  July 23-28 at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts in Raleigh.

Expect a full house for this one, a few guest performers, and an unforgettable night of song and dance.
